><br>This position is responsible for selling Microsoft Corporation solutions
(Healthcare Solutions Group) to healthcare industry customers in Canada. This
role requires a senior sales executive with deep industry knowledge, a solid
understanding of a wide range of solution and partner offerings, the ability
to call on senior business executives in major health organizations, and a
proven track record in successfully managing and closing complex sales in
large enterprise accounts (both private and government). This individual will
be on the forefront of Microsoft's evolution from a recognized leader in
desktop computing to a solutions oriented company that delivers business
value. The position will own the orchestration across several strategic and
major accounts integrating an overlay team which can include Partner Managers,
Solution Sales Specialist’s, Industry Managers, Services and Technical
Specialists; accordingly the ability to work effectively in a team setting and
manage multiple large opportunities is critical. This is a software sales
based income position and the individual will be goaled on the attainment of
revenue across their assigned accounts. This role requires an experienced
salesperson with 8+ years selling to our Canadian healthcare enterprise
customers (preferably software), growing a large territory, and experience
navigating private and governmental procurement processes. In addition, this
candidate must have demonstrated work experience with technical understanding
of computer software technology and effective presentation skills; strong
project management and account development skills; knowledge of the IT
industry as well as the CxO business and clinical challenges, including
enterprise customer requirements; understanding of the channel; knowledge of
the business and clinical drivers for enterprise accounts; excellent
communication, presentation and organizational skills; Microsoft and
competitive product knowledge. A BA/BS degree in Business or Marketing
preferred. Fluency in French Canadian not required. This position will be
based in Toronto, Ontario and will require travel (we may consider other
locations if we find a strong candidate).
