Operators (and OEM partners) to ship a healthy portfolio of signature devices
into the market year over year. This is a great time for you to join the

key European Operators and looking for an experienced Program Manager to
spearhead our engineering engagements.

><br>This senior Program Manager will play a pivotal role to design, spec and
ship key differentiator experiences on Windows Mobile phones over the next few
years, and will also be on-point to work directly with European Operators to
build these signature Microsoft/Operator branded Windows Mobile experiences.
We are looking for a self-motivated and independent Program Manager who is a
great team player and has an excellent track record for feature development,
project management and cross-group collaboration. Experience working with
customers is key and this role is also expected to work closely with Product
Planning and Dev/Test teams to drive collaborative decisions during the
product cycles.

><br>The key responsibilities of this role include commercialization of
Windows Mobile devices committed on the partner roadmap, engineering
relationship management, technology roadmap management, and feature work with
your own dev/test as well as customer-facing responsibilities. It is key that
you have ability to work extremely closely with your developers to help
Windows Mobile devices sail smoothly through operator network testing, and
that you have both breadth and depth scope in program management skills.

><br>Candidates should have a BA/BS in Computer Science or related engineering
discipline and at least 5-7 years experience in the Program Manager role.
Experience in the mobile industry and embedded systems are is required as well
as the following skills:

><br> Strong design intuition and good functional specification writing skills

> Drive for results, initiative and desire to impact the mobile industry
through increasing the influence of Windows Mobile platform<br> Excellent
communication, problem solving and strong cross group collaboration skills

> Strong customer awareness and empathy, and desire to work closely with
customers<br> Proven experience in end-to-end project management of product
life cycles

> Fluent verbal and written skills in English and German<font>
