>Microsoft’s Enterprise Services Group is searching for a highly motivated,
results driven and dynamic Services Sales Professional to drive specific
Microsoft services offerings to our top enterprise customers helping them more
efficiently operate and optimize their Microsoft investments. This individual
should be able to bring a creative approach to selling & evangelizing these
offerings in a competitive market. This is an exciting opportunity to be part
of a world class services sales team that will help establish Microsoft as a
trusted advisor.<br>

>The Services Sales Executive role requires a solid understanding of
Microsoft’s technology, competitive positioning, and experience in the sale of
complex and strategic information technology projects for large customers. The
candidate must possess a demonstrated fluency calling on high-level business
decision makers (CIO, CFO) with IT project-specific outcomes. Experience in
solution selling through partnering with high level system integrators,
solution providers and other technology providers is expected.<br>


><br>The Services Sales Executive will work in concert with local Services
sales team to build and manage a multi-million dollar Microsoft Enterprise
Services pipeline of specific Strategic Consulting deliverables and other
defined Pursuit Solutions and will work on developing a sales strategy,
presenting offerings and closing engagements.

><br>The candidate must possess deep experience in understanding the key
business requirements and scoping a high level solution concept, working
closely with Microsoft Consultants as well as Microsoft Partners including
third-party subcontractors, onshore/offshore systems integrators and
outsourcing services. Experience in integrating Microsoft and non-Microsoft
enterprise technologies (Linux, Unix, Websphere, iPlanet) is desired and will
enhance the candidate’s credibility with respect to enterprise architecture
and IT strategy.

><br>In order to understand the client business objectives and deliver
services engagements, you will work closely with local account teams and
client at Director and CxO levels of the organization. In addition, you will
actively participate in account strategy and planning sessions with local
Microsoft teams. You will deliver regular sales forecasts and customer
feedback on trends, opportunities and challenges in order to benchmark and
forecast your business.

><br>Key responsibilities include:

>• Driving the sales of Microsoft Consulting Services and Microsoft Support
Services to our Enterprise Customers and Partners to meet Services Revenue
commitments<br>• Creating a business plan for a specific customer base.

>• Prospecting and qualifying opportunities for consulting and support
services.<br>• Scoping the engagement working closely with various Microsoft
technical resources, including key consultants and architects.

>• Working strategically and cooperatively with our Enterprise Sales teams and
Partners to win in competitive situations and further drive the successful
adoption and penetration of Microsoft products, technologies and
solutions.<br>• Preparing the proposals, statements of work & corresponding

>• Demonstrate initiative, proactivity and creativity in the development and
closure of Services opportunities.<br>• Ensure appropriate setting of customer
expectations and internal Services Quality Assurance for high risk / high
dollar engagements.



>The candidate must have superior business development and business management
skills. The candidate must have references for experience in development and
management of a multi-million dollar Services pipeline. They should
demonstrate an expert level of proficiency in conflict and negotiation
management. Depth of experience in a variety of applicable technologies as
they relate to business challenges is essential and strong services business
knowledge is required. This individual must be able to understand and
articulate Microsoft’s strategy and vision to a variety of audiences.<br>

>• A minimum of 10 years or more working experience in either consulting
sales, clientproject management, high-end professional services business
development/delivery OR relevant management experience,

>• Demonstrated successful experience with Enterprise customers in selling
large scale, high impact projects in a consultative approach.<br>• Extremely
strong written, verbal and communication skills (including proposal writing
and presentation building)

>• A solid understanding of Microsoft’s business value proposition and
products, including how products and solutions are built, what is involved in
implementing Microsoft based solutions within the enterprise<br>• Positive
attitude, very creative in both solutions and deal making with high energy and
a passion for technology solutions

>• Adaptability, flexibility and the ability to do with quality work under
extreme stress, heavy workload and tight deadlines<br>• Excellent
interpersonal, teamwork and organizational skills

>• Understanding of the partner channel including SI and ISV communities,<br>•
Undergraduate or graduate degree in business, computer science or engineering
